Closure of A49 30 March-4 April, Monday-Friday, 8.00pm-6.00am

A49 Roman Road to Hope under Dinmore road markings and road stud replacement.

What we’re doing and why? What are the benefits?
We’ll be repainting the road markings and replacing the road studs along the A49 between the Roman Road and Hope under Dinmore. The completed work will make the road safer through clearer markings and road studs for road users.
We will also be resurfacing the A49 St Marys Church lay-by which has shown clear signs of deterioration. Work will include repainting the road markings and replacing the road studs. The resurfaced lay-by will ensure a smoother, quieter and safer road.

When will this work take place?
We will work from 30 March 2020 to 04 April 2020, Monday to Friday, 8pm to 6am. The work will be completed under a full carriageway closure of the A49.
