FREE Community Thank You Events in Herefordshire!
Starting this Sunday, Talk Community are running a series of free Community Thank You Events across Herefordshire, from June through to September.
The events, run in partnership with HALO Leisure, will be offering free fitness activities such as swimming, tennis, gym access, group exercise classes and badminton. There’s also free refreshments and some extra fun activities including face painting and balloon modelling! Come along and meet local community services and groups to find out more about supporting your health and wellbeing, or just to find out what’s going on in your local area!
The seven events will be held across the county on the following dates:
26 June 2022 – Hereford Leisure Pool
3 July 2022 – Leominster Leisure Centre
24 July 2022 – Ross Swimming Pool
31 July 2022 – The Bromyard Centre
7 August 2022 – Lady Hawkins Community Leisure Centre, Kington
20 August 2022 – Ledbury Sports Centre
11 September 2022 – Hereford Leisure Centre

Walk and Talk
Developed by Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the Walk and Talk programme supports and encourages older adults to step outdoors and walk together, to remain socially connected.
Participants walk at their own pace and will choose the distance they wish to walk from week to week. Walk and Talk sessions are run by local sports clubs and volunteers, under the guidance of Active HW, who monitor and support all sessions and session hosts.
